SALES MASTERY PROGRAMS

Sales Mastery programs have been held for a leading, integrated financial services company with a sales force of 125, a national paper manufacturer with a sales force of 30 and a international manufacturer of pharmaceutical packaging systems.  The curriculum was specifically designed to fit the needs of each of these organizations.  Pre and post evaluations were done and the results were impressive.

MANUFACTURING

A manufacturer of specialty plastics in Connecticut contracted with SaleMetrix, Inc. to help with strategic and tactical planning and sales process development.  The products the company makes have unique properties that allow them to be used in a number of applications in construction, transportation, display advertising and fixtures, flooring, furniture and many others.  SaleMetrix helped the company focus on the most likely industries and crafted sales processes to effectively highlight the product attributes that are most appealing for each segment.  Key contacts in each industry were developed, both in terms of potential customers and top influencers, and sales people were focused on those targets.  As a result, the company increased its business in each of these segments and cash flow was significantly improved.

DISTRIBUTION

A national distributor of beauty supplies in Cleveland, OH recently engaged SaleMetrix to conduct market research to identify easily obtained "markers" that correlate directly with the amount of beauty supplies a salon purchases for internal use and for resale. Sales staff and management will use these markers to assess sales potential of individual salons and of territories. Armed with this information they will be able to set meaningful market share and sales goals for their salespeople and divisions.

INSURANCE

A nationwide healthcare insurance company located in Hartford has sales and service centers in Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago and San Francisco, each operating with a separate database and data structure. SaleMetrix assisted the company in consolidating the disparate databases and setting up a network to continually synchronize the activities of the staff through four levels of authority. As a result, the flow of information about prospects has been greatly enhanced and coordination of activities throughout the sales and sales support organizations has helped the company pool support resources to enhance their communications and campaigning. As a result, the flow of information about prospects was enhanced, expanding the reach of the sales team. In addition, coordination of activities throughout the sales and sales support organizations has reduced the number of "lost" leads and enhanced customer service by building familiarity with prospects and customers across the company.

PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

A major high technology recruiting company in New York City retained SaleMetrix to develop a standard sales process for its account managers and recruiters. The plans were developed, tested, documented and the staff was trained on the custom system. Additionally, SaleMetrix developed and rolled out a sales compensation plan that was effective in incenting the current staff, increasing commissions to successful staff and increasing profits for the organization.

FRANCHISING

A hot new advertising medium - autos wrapped in eye-catching, impactful advertising was interested in franchising its concept nationally and internationally.  They selected SaleMetrix to assist them in developing and publishing its operations, sales, production and legal manuals and in developing and executing the franchise sales plan.  The program was launched in late August, 2002 and over 600 leads were generated and the first franchisees are now in training and set-up.  An option has been sold for the first international franchise in a major European country with others to follow.
